Psychological Therapy Newcastle

Celebrating diversity, through  inclusive, individualised, and compassionate care

At Compass Clinical Psychology, we are driven by our core practice values of celebrating diversity and fostering inclusivity. These principles shape every aspect of our work, including our therapeutic approach, by affirming each person’s unique identity and experience. This means it’s all about getting to know you as an individual being, and understand your goals. Your psychologist will work with you to provide personalised care, collaboratively developing an evidence-based treatment plan to support you to progress towards psychological wellbeing (whatever that looks like to you!).

With both in-person sessions at our Newcastle Clinical Psychology Practice and secure telehealth services available Australia-wide, we strive to offer accessible and flexible options.

Our Clinical Psychologists are registered with Medicare to provide services under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative. This initiative allows individuals to claim a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. To obtain this rebate, you will require a referral and the development of a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your General Practitioner (GP) or a Psychiatrist. For more information about the Better Access Initiative, please visit the APS website.
